Tour Details

Essential information you need to know
Why are we moving hotels?

The tour is designed to cover both the Northern and Southern Island of New Zealand. We will be covering huge distances, hence to save on time and long drives, it is necessary to move hotels. The time saved by not having to drive back, will give the group better flexibibility to leave later the next morning and to enjoy breakfast.

What’s the difference between the North and South Island of New Zealand?

We will be spending more time in the South Island of New Zealand rather than in the North. The South Island is home to jaw-dropping landscapes like the fjords in Milford Sound, the mountains near Queenstown as well as the lakes, glaciers, and mountains in Mt. Cook National Park. The North Island, however, is home to some unique activities like Hobbiton, Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and the geothermal areas in Rotorua.

How are the activities? Do we need to be fit?

For our activities, our New Zealand Expedition offers a mix of adventure tours and laid back activities.

Adventure Activities:
Shotover Jet - A highspeed jet boat ride through a canyon
Tasman Glacier Heli Hike Experience - a helicopter ride to the Tasman Glacier along with a walk on top and under the Tasman Glacier

Laid back Activities:
TSS Earnslaw Cruise - a relaxing cruise along Lake Wakatipu
Onsen Experience - a relaxing dip in a hot private Onsen
Skyline Queenstown Cable Car - ride to the viewpoint
Waitomo Glowworm Caves - a boat ride to marvel at the glowworms and caves

However, there will be moderate to long walks in some stops. It is advisable to exercise / be active prior to joining this tour.

Is it expensive in New Zealand?

A normal average meal costs around 1000 pesos. There are plenty of options to choose from Asian to Western Cuisine.

Water is free and clean to drink anywhere you go.

Commodities and souvenir items are relatively expensive. Shopping for clothes and other brands will have limited options. We suggest to do this in other countries.
